How We Evaluate Mattresses

This is our planned evaluation framework, not a claim that testing has already been completed. No Somnero mattress has published test results at this stage.

Documentation before marketing

We plan to verify the model specification, manufacturer, appropriate safety documentation, labeling, care requirements and warranty responsibilities before sale.

What we intend to assess

Dimensions, feel, movement transfer, edge behavior, ease of changing position and the bed-base requirements. Thermal claims will need an appropriate stated method rather than a cooling label alone.

How results should be reported

Any published evaluation should identify the model and version, date, method, conditions and limitations. Subjective impressions will be separated from measurements.
